How are Y-Line kitchens different from X-Line kitchens?

There are two significant differences between X-Line and Y-Line kitchens. Both are based on a minimalist, handleless system. However, Y-Line takes things one step further. The flat slab doors and drawers feature an aluminium strip along the pull edge. This adds an additional tactile element and visual feature. In addition, where the X-Line's recess channel is made of solid aluminium, the Y-Line's recess channel is made from the same material as the door or drawer.

Can I add handles to a Y-Line kitchen?

Whilst anything is possible, we would recommend you go with either ProLine or ClassicLine if you want a kitchen with handles.

Are Y-Line kitchens flat pack?

No, all Y-Line kitchens arrive at your home fully assembled and ready to install. Pronorm uses state-of-the-art manufacturing techniques to ensure each cabinet is constructed to the highest standards with precision tolerances. This simply isn't possible with flat-pack kitchens, which we consider to be a false economy.

Can I choose a different colour for the recess channel?

Yes! This is one of the beauties of Y-Line. The flexibility of the system enables you to choose any colour from the range as a recess channel. This opens you up to a wide range of design opportunities for a truly unique kitchen design.
