Part of the same full house renovation that gave Mr and Mrs Evans their new family kitchen and ensuite, this master bathroom is the perfect room for anyone who loves things light and bright. Predominantly white and neutral, real interest comes from black detailing and bold terrazzo-pattern tiles throughout.
Our design process is entirely collaborative, and we love it when creative clients play an active part — exactly what happened here. Terrazzo is always a bold choice, but set against a simple, neutral palette it creates a lively contrast without ever tipping into overwhelming. Black fixtures accentuate the tile's darker flecks, while simple white brick tiles around the shower keep the whole room properly balanced.
The undoubted showstopper is a freestanding bath, designed for understated luxury without dominating the space or distracting from the terrazzo pattern. A recessed niche beside it was planned specifically for late-night soaks, with room for a glass of wine and a tea light — the kind of considered, lifestyle-led detail that turns a beautiful bathroom into a genuine retreat.
