Blue and white wet room in Cardiff

Mr and Mrs Evans had just bought their forever home in the suburbs of Cardiff. It was a 1950s build with a separate WC and bathroom on the first floor. The brief was clear: combine the two rooms into one, replace the bath with a low-profile shower, and create a genuinely stylish space finished to a high standard.

The result is a striking blue and white scheme with chrome accents throughout. Distinctively patterned floor tiles set the tone, while simple white edge-facing wall tiles and complementary grout finish the room with real cohesion. False walls were built around the shower and toilet specifically to hide the plumbing and create space for illuminated niche storage, with a blue mosaic tile detail inside adding a lovely finishing touch.
