Mr and Mrs Bail needed considerable changes to their kitchen. This involved removing walls to open the space into the dining room and utility, plus a wider door opening and a Velux window to the side of the house. Our building team demolished the existing space and fitted support beams, while our own electrical, plumbing, plastering and decorating trades all worked in sequence behind them. The handmade shaker kitchen cabinets took pride of place in a space transformed beyond recognition from its original condition.

A distressed antique mirror splashback adds real depth and richness in place of a single flat colour of glass. This is a vintage detail that’s proving increasingly popular with clients.
