Family kitchen transformation in Llantwit Major

This must be one of our most rewarding projects. Mr and Mrs Evans moved to Llantwit Major full-time in 2023, into a house in genuine need of a full renovation, and commissioned us to work on the majority of the home — including a major kitchen overhaul that meant removing the structural wall separating the dining room, engaging our building team and meeting full local authority planning regulations.

With the wall down and support steel in place, plumbing and electrics were managed under Jo's proprietary 'Design Led' protocol — meaning Jo was on site personally checking the position of every cable and pipe against the design drawings, rather than leaving it to chance. Only once the space was properly restored did the kitchen go in: a Pronorm ProLine kitchen in Oak Antique with a bank of Arctic White tall units, and a Silestone Polished Miami Vena worktop in a 20mm slab, finished with a handmade extractor unit designed to match.

This was a genuinely emotional project for everyone involved, and the whole team put their heart into getting it right. Getting the Evans family back around the dining table, properly settled into their new home, was our priority throughout — and we loved every minute of it.
