Gorgeous green country kitchen in Llantwit Major

This beautifully restored barn conversion, set on the edge of farmland in Llantwit Major, needed a kitchen that respected its agricultural past while embracing modern family living. It was a genuine floor-to-ceiling project: walls reconfigured for an open kitchen-dining area, full rewiring, new plumbing for a farmhouse sink, and careful restoration of the original oak beams and stone walls.

The result is a handmade Shaker kitchen finished in Little Greene's Jewel Beetle. This a rich green that pays homage to a Sargent portrait, paired with solid brass handles for vintage charm. Silestone Callacatta Gold worktops add striking contrast, while a generous peninsular anchors the space for family gatherings and dinner parties alike. All lit by soft brass pendant lighting.
