Kitchen extension in Dinas Powys

Rebecca and James came to us wanting to expand their kitchen into an adjoining double garage. Their existing garage space was useful for storage and gym equipment but no longer serving a family whose needs had changed. The brief called for a genuinely multifunctional, sociable space, complete with a range cooker, a generous island and appliances built to be as reliable as they are beautiful.

Working alongside a structural engineer and the local authority regulations officer, we took on the full design, build and installation process. Rebecca wanted to move away from anonymous gloss magnolia cabinets, choosing instead a Belgravia in-frame shaker kitchen with handmade solid ash doors and drawer fronts for genuine individuality.

There are hundreds of retailers happy to sell a set of cabinets, worktops and appliances and even some offering design on top. Far fewer manage the full design, build and project management process. They won’t be coordinating multiple trades, material shortages and supply chain disruption without it becoming the client's problem. That's exactly the professional approach to problem-solving that separates Your Space Living and it's what gave Rebecca and James the gorgeous space they now love.
