Mr and Mrs Bray's original kitchen was squeezed into a small corner of an open-plan kitchen diner, leaving the room feeling cramped and underused. After a long, thorough design process, we made the bold call to swap the kitchen and dining areas entirely . This meant moving the kitchen into what had been the dining space, and vice versa. Finally they would have a room layout that made sense.

That decision wasn't taken lightly. Every service from gas, water and electricity had to be relocated to support the new layout. This added real complexity and significant cost to the project. The finished room makes a bold style statement too: solid wood shaker doors in a striking marine blue, contrasted against the purest white. It's a genuinely transformed home.
