Master shower room in Cardiff

Mr and Mrs Evans wanted to make a genuinely bold statement with the master shower room on the second floor of their Victorian terrace in Cardiff. Removing the traditional bath freed up the design scope considerably, giving us lots of scope to get creative with tile choice, pattern and colour.

Contrast was the guiding principle throughout — from the tile patterns to the grout colour, every element was chosen to play its part without any one tile overpowering another. The result is a genuinely striking space, finished to the highest standard, with a playful pink wall colour around the tiling adding an extra spark of personality to an already characterful room.

This wasn't the only bathroom on the project. Mr and Mrs Evans also had a smaller shower room on the first floor of the house, which had seen better days and needed its own refurbishment — tackled by the same team, to the same exacting standard, as part of the wider project.
