Having already trusted Jo Buckerfield with their striking in-frame kitchen, Mr and Mrs Rees came back to Your Space Living for their bathroom too. The wanted a genuine sanctuary where they could relax and switch off from day-to-day life. After a comprehensive kitchen renovation, their budget needed reining in. So the brief was clear: maximum design impact and quality, without overspending.

Jo led every design decision in the room, from plumbing, tiling and lighting through to storage and the smaller finishing accessories, working from bare brick Victorian walls all the way to the polished finish seen today. It was a genuinely collaborative process, with Mr and Mrs Rees closely involved in every choice along the way.

Careful use of niche recess shelving around the bath adds easy-access, low-cost storage for towels and toiletries without cluttering the room's clean lines. The result is a warm, bright and luxurious bathroom that delivers on every level. Proof that a tight budget and a genuinely relaxing, high-end result aren't mutually exclusive when the right designer is involved from the outset.
