Pink and Brass Bathroom in Cardiff

When Sara and John came to us, they were committed to a full house renovation in Cardiff. This was an ambitious project that would test their building team and our design skills in equal measure. Sara had a strong vision for the house and a detailed brief. After a genuinely collaborative design process, we landed on this pink theme with brass accents. The result is stunning.

The main feature tile is a geometric Volta Pink from Porcelain Superstore, matched with Cuban Star from Tiles Direct. Plain white metro tiles run floor to ceiling behind the basin, with Mustang Sand underfoot. All together creating a space that's light and airy, never overpowering.

A huge amount of craft sits behind the finish: mid-height walls and attractive niche areas demanded expert carpentry and construction, while considered lighting lifts the whole room and brass fittings add warmth and texture. A fluted basin and complementary vanity unit pair beautifully with the double-ended bath. It's proof that a bold colour choice, handled properly, reads as confident rather than risky — and Sara and John adore the result.
