Ensuite shower with a splash of Aquamarine

The ensuite is so often the forgotten room in the house. Usually , it's the last space to be renovated. Adding insult to injury, it’s typically given the short end of the budget. Not here. Having already delivered the master bathroom for this Cowbridge family, our design team pulled out all the stops to make sure this second, smaller room got exactly the same level of attention.

The result is genuinely exquisite. A colourful floor paired with complementary scalloped feature tiles, balanced by simple white tiles in a uniform pattern around the shower and WC. The space never feels overdone. It's a wonderful balance of simplicity and style. Illuminated recess niches add a further splash of colour from the scalloped tiles, with high-quality chrome fittings finishing the room perfectly.

It's traditional to cut feature tiles in a straight line and edge them with a metal profile strip — but doing that here would have ruined the beautiful scalloped shape of these tiles. So we left the edges bare instead. Everyone loves how it turned out. It's proof that even a 'second' ensuite deserves the same design thinking as the main bathroom.
